We love October in house for various reasons.

1. we get to watch Scooby Doo non-stop 

2. Halloween

3. yummy Halloween candy and desserts

and

4. making Halloween decorations

Here are couple decorations we made this last week. We are working on turning baby jars into pumpkins. 

It's going to be so much fun!

Fall Leaf

Don't you just love fall?!

Continuing on with my fall crafts, here is a  little fall leaf design for the season that's starting. I love fall so much! The nice chill in the air, the smells, the leaves changing colors, pumpkins, festivals, and all that great fall traditions.

Flower 1 and Flower 2

It's been a while friends. Sorry about that, between the move and volleyball starting up again, we have been pretty busy at the house.

My sister in law is decorating her daughters room and asked me to make some flower designs for her and this what we decided on. She loves them and I love them. Simple yet perfect!

Elephants

It's been raining all day here, so I thought I'd share another little project I've done.

Do you like elephants? I like elephants!

While browsing on Facebook, I see a lot of pins about decorating a nursery with elephants and such. Then I thought, I should make one with an elephant and so I did. I absolutely love how it out and hope it finds a good home for some little one or just for someone's home decor.

I'm in love with lace! I've recently fell in love with birds. I wanted some cute wall decor for our home and wanted to combine the two and here is what I came up with.

We call this bird Simplicity. Can't you just feel the simplicity it brings?

New Adventure

Hello. Welcome to Simply Lace. I am so excited about starting this new adventure. I have come to love creating little projects to make my apartment a home. What do you think of when you here the word home?

Some may say family, memories, loud, busy, kids everywhere, and we can go on and on. Well, when I think of a home, I think simple, elegant, and peaceful. A few of you may know what that is like, but those you have little ones, know it's not the case sometimes, or ever.

No need to fear, I am here. These feelings: Simple, Elegant, Peaceful,  are feelings I want to bring into your homes and lives. A picture on the wall to stop you for a moment in your busy, crazy life and remember that it is the small and simple things in life that matter, that bring the most joy and happiness to you.
